Ok mate try this, first of all make sure you don't have anything to do with usbloader gx on your wii or on your sd card then put this apps folder onto the sd card, put the card into the wii and launch hbc you should see usb loader gx app. Launch that from inside hbc and let me know how you get on shout up is this link doesn't work it's the first time I've tried it http://dl.dropbox.com/u/64422396/apps.rar

Glad to hear it now we need to sort it out so it launches from the forwarder. I'm going to sort out some additions for that sd card you now have, I will include instructions

Here you go bowie http://dl.dropbox.com/u/64422396/gx%...0and%20mmm.rar Extract this to the sd card that has the working gx on it, you then drag the mmm folder into the apps folder. put the sd into the wii and launch hbc, form there start mmm (multi mod manager) navigate down to reload ios (bottom of the list i think) then select 236 from the options...once reloaded go to wad manager and select it, now press "a" to select forwarder wad and "a" again to install it. Exit mmm and hbc and go to the main wii screen, you should now have a gx channel on your main screen click that and gx should now load properly for you.

That list is good but don't forget that thread was started in 2009 and it has 52 pages. You will see that users have added their different drives on when they have found they work. I added my 2 drives on there but only the 1TB is listed on page 1.

I know it's old mate but it still covers more hdd than any other list

Yes I know it is, what I'm saying is if his Iomega Prestige Desktop External Hard Drive - 1TB isn't listed in page 1 browse through the other 52 pages to see if someone has tried that drive.

That's my drive keith it is one I can confirm as working, even with neek2o, and have never had a bit of bother with it which is why I would recommend it.

I'm new to this site and found it to be very, very helpful. I was having the same issue as bowie but with the help of all of you all, My 4 yr old is also very happy. I had a different setup but saw a friend of mine with this gx loader setup but I couldn't get it working with the standard tut's out on the web. but you guys gave bowie(and myself) the files and guided us to get it up and running in no time and for that I give u guys Big Props.......

Is it possible to get USB Loader GX, the full package from you? I am having the same problem. I am getting http:/1.1 404 error when I run "USBLoaderGX_Installer.exe" file.

No there a glitch in the full download USB Loader GX Easy installer (for Windows). It downloads but when you run it you get that error number.

You could try Wii - USB Loader GX Channel v2.3 USBLoaderGX_Installer.exe to see if that one works without errors.
