    Hi highlander,

I am also new to all this and just bought a wii, (system menu 4.3E) I have hacked it and loaded the HBC and emulators are working fine. Now even I am getting the same error "download failed: HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found" while installing the loader GX. I tried your uploaded GX loader file and I was able to see Loader gx app under HBC. HOw ever when I try to load it it gives me the error .... "USB Loader requires atleast cIOS 222 or 245-250."

I then followed your this post /......
Here you go bowie http://dl.dropbox.com/u/64422396/gx%...0and%20mmm.rar Extract this to the sd card that has the working gx on it, you then drag the mmm folder into the apps folder. put the sd into the wii and launch hbc, form there start mmm (multi mod manager) navigate down to reload ios (bottom of the list i think) then select 236 from the options...once reloaded go to wad manager and select it, now press "a" to select forwarder wad and "a" again to install it. Exit mmm and hbc and go to the main wii screen, you should now have a gx channel on your main screen click that and gx should now load properly for you.
Now in this when I navigate to reload ios I do not see the option 236 there. I see 3,4,9 ...uptill 70, 80 and then 222, 223, 249,250 and last 254. But if i try to load 222 or 223,249,250 it says "Not loading stu IOS" On 254 it just hangs on reloading IOS254 and I have to power off it to bring it online .....

Can you guide me, how to get GX Uploader working ....

Any help would be highly appriciated .....

    Thanks in advance
    regards
    sammy

It sound as though he has stubbed out all vulnerable ios ck so your second link of a syscheck will probably be his best bet so that we can make sure that's what has happened

Ok I was not following any tut up till now, when I kinda googled more about this and came to know that you need to have a customOS in order for GX installer to work. I then followed the followinf guide but without success ...

We Hack Wii / USB Loader

I skiped 1-4 as I already had hacked the wii. Rest were followed per the sequence. I was successfully able to delete the stub 222, and all other that the guide said to remove. But when I go to step 7 where we actually install cIOS, it seems to do its part but at the end I get the following line .....

Downloading part 1/15, SD Card . Bad Hash

            and then just exits.

On step 8 it gives error ret = -2011

Now if I try to load GX Loader it gives the error .....needs unstubbed cIOS 222 v4 or 249 v9 .......and then exits.

cIOS is the one I am trying to install on step 7, but obviously somewhere something is going wrong ...

            Help!

            My syscheckl is as follows

It appears a few are getting this HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found error. I downloaded USBLoaderGX_Installer.exe from another site and it shows the same error.

When you try to run USB Loader GX from HBC it will say needs cIOS222, cIOS249 or cIOS250 as instructed install d2x v7 Final that will install all the necessary wads needed for USB Loaders.

If you want IOS236 download it and put it in the wad folder on the SD card and install it with MMM along with the other d2x v7 wads.

I see you've post the sysCheck report and as suspected you don't have the d2x v7 wads installed, do that or you will never get USB Loaders to work.

I also see you don't have PriiLoader 0.7 installed to block online and disc updates, install this.

Oh after you softmodded did you do a NAND backup straight afterwards?

Can't get to pc for about another half hour or so but don't go deleting any more ios until I can get a tut done for you or you are going to end up in a whole heep of sh1t.

Edit.....In fact follow the link from ck but you need to update hbc first as you are only running version 1.0.0 and should be on version 1.0.8 or you will not be able to install cios 236 properly and the rest of the updates will then fail.

UPDATE :: I tried installing the same wad using the WAD manager and I get the following error

                              >> Installing Ticket .... ERROR! (ret = -2011)

This is the same error I got while performing step 8 of my initial tut that I was following.

Edit.....In fact follow the link from ck but you need to update hbc first as you are only running version 1.0.0 and should be on version 1.0.8 or you will not be able to install cios 236 properly and the rest of the updates will then fail.
Not deleting any more ios highlander ... waiting for your specific instructions ....
