I would still advise people to avoid buying seagate drive just for wii games as it very temperamental. If it is Seagate with another name to it e.g Seagate Barracuda, this might work but I think seagate on its own might not work. At the end of the day it might be your luck as well but as I said try avoiding it if you can.

Yep Seagates are bad unless they are the ES ones. I've been running 5 1TB ES ones in my RAID server for a few years with no problems.

Are there any good disk caddies that people can recommend, as I'll have to buy one and prefer not to fork out on a Western Digital My Book when a caddy would do?

        Hey,Yumraaj!Hope u better,mate!

Just 1 question, I got games working on USB but not on disk & vice versa.

The games that dont work on USB displays a blue screen with "error #002".
        Any idea as to why?

Also, Ounch out was working on USB before, but it wont load now. Getting the same error message!

        Thanks.

Hi mate have you tried the latest revision mate? USB Loader GX (Official Theme Database) - Loader I'm sure in the setting there is an error 002 fix, set it to "ON", hopefully this will sort it.

Guys!I am trying to load games onto an internal Hitachi 80GB Hard Drive, but my PC won't pick up the drive.
When I stick it in my PC, it comes up as new device found but its not visible among the list of Hard Drives and the WBFS wont pick it up either.

I have put the drive in a USB enlosure.

Well, I use this drive in a Eurovox before.

                    Can someone help,please?

                    Thanks.

Right click on my computer and select manage,
Select on disk management, you will see a list of drive connected to PC, if it is black, this means it hasn't been assigned a drive letter yet. Right click on the Black area and choose simple volume and follow the prompt to assign a drive letter and also to format it. Hope this help.

                            Basically you should have:
1: The main application in the apps folder
2: config folder in the root of your SD
3: images folder in the root of your SD
4: theme folder in the root of your SD

OK, in the config folder you should have 2 folders which are backgroundmusic & language and you should also have 2 documents; GXGameSettings and GXGlobal.

images folder will have all your 3D covers and also your Disc art.

theme folder will contain your themes.

                            That's it.

But I have an even bigger problem!
I cant get the GXLoader to load.
It loads without my USB plugged in but when I plug the USB & try to load it, I get a black screen with loads of numbers & stuff like "dump error" etc.

I need to fix that first to be able to put new themes on.

You need to plug it in first then try to load it again. Normally it will do that if it cant see the drive. Try it again I'm sure it will be allright. Make sure you switch your Wii off first.
