The wife wants to play X factor (honest)
It loads fine from configurable usb loader but when you actually choose a song it says "please plug in usb microphone" even though mic is plugged into second usb slot.
Any tips ?

load game with ios 222 or 223

tried with 223-mload but still the same, and 222 it says is not installed.
dont suppose you have a link for the ios i need ?

downloaded custom ios installer, navigated away from 249 to 223 and that installed fine, however 222 came up with a fail.
tried launching the game with ios 222-mload and 223-mload but am still getting the "connect mic" message.

bit of a age old problem this, try auto updating cfg loader
can you run from disc to free up other usb port or buy a cheap multi usb connector and plug mic and hdd into same port

tried running from disk with neogamma with mic in usb slot 0 and same result, do i need to change iso in neogamma too ?
Cant see auto update option in usbloader or am i just being dense ?

1.Start Configurable USB Loader and push 1 twice to get to the Global Options screen.
2.Select Search for updates and push right on the D-pad.
3.A selection of versions will come up. Choose the one you want to install and push A.
4.The new version will download and install over the currently running version.
Don't worry about meta.xml here, your changes will be preserved.
5.When complete, push any button to return to USB Loader.
6.Exit and restart the loader to try the new version.
dont think you can change ios in neogamma it just uses ios 249
what sort of mic is it?

try plugging them into pc and see if you get any signal from them
you could also try http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...taller-143444/ this can play dvd-rs and you can lauch them with different ios's
could be the mics ?8 sound pretty cheap for 2 mics

can i run uloader as well as having config usb loader or will i need to remove usb loader.

No, no joy with uloader either, tried 222 and 223. will have to try and borrow a proper mic to see if that works.

you can use as many loaders as you want

you dont need this if you use the 4.3 tut it has a usb loader in the download
