Wii USB HD Loader

usb probs i have been using my external usb hard drive and its been working great im on 4.2e
untill now and all im getting is stack dumps ??? any ideas please help i have reformmated the hard drive but this still happens and i havent touched anything else??????

I've followed this Wii 4.2E softmod tutorial. Easy to follow guide and its working great with uLoader. But I've a one little problem.

I want to use the WiiFlow as an USB Loader. I've installed the WiiFlow from its site. It's working and seeing the games on my HDD. I've downloaded the covers etc.
But when I tried to launch the games (GH5 and Wii Sports Resort) its going into the black screen and pauses. I've tried to launch the games with 223 etc. just like I'm doing in the ULoader; but it keeps freezing

I've read some tutorials abour the wiiflow; but I'm not sure if that installing process (includes IOS38 with 37 or something) will also fail the launch of ULoader.

I desperately need your help about the WiiFlow installation. What should I do to make it work (with out compromising the uLoader)?

I was wondering if i could use a laptop harddrive i have spare and just buy a case for it. Would that work as an external hdd?? Just trying to save money guys with the credit crunch an all . any advice would be great!!

Thanks for the reply ck! Does it matter what type of hdd it is? like sata or ide as i have seen some people post that their ext hdd is incompatible.

some are not compatible see if yours is on this list USB Compatibility List

Is the download for the cOIS installer supposed to take a long time? I thought it was frozen for a second, 'cause the music stopped playing and nothing was happening, but then it jerked to life and moved on. I'm up to content #05, but it's been stuck there for five minutes. >_> I'm kinda freaked out.

Sorry to jump in like this but could anyone advise a relative noob?

I've been playing games off a 16GB memory stick for a while now but my kids have been driving me nuts asking to swap games over. So I formatted a portable 320GB hard drive I use and put about 30 games on it. The loader recognizes the drive and the games but after I click on the icon to start the game all I get is a blank screen requiring me to restart the wii. Is this a problem with settings or the hard drive? All the games work from the memory stick just fine.

Any advice will be gratefully received. Thanks

have you put it in the apps folder of your sd card?

for info, not working with samsung s2 portable, possibly due to 1024 bytes physical sector size.
