i got a wii and hd from a friend who had 1tb of games on it.

I have my own wii with USB loader gx ect on it and when i plug my friends hd into my wii and it just says initializing hd and gets stuck in usb loader gx. I have tried neogamma and wiiflow but still doesnt work.

But when i try the 1tb hd on his wii it works fine but my hd.

I have set up my wii all good and works with my personal 500gb hd but cannot get it to work on his 1tb hd?

help please.

USB HDD and also USB 8 gb stick suddenly stopped working, working perfectly previously, is it worth trying the full cIOS kit first before posting further probs(if any)?

Now we just need a USB loader that will support a NTFS file system..that would be the day.

Gx loader supports ntfs but it is not overly stable when on that format

Yeah I've been reading about the newer Gx Loader, and I think that it's really neat that they came up with how to enable Ntfs compatibility for it. I'll most likely give it a try later when a more-stable release is available.
