It tries to load but then I get the black screen with this "Exception (DSI) occurred with loads off "GPR" & numbers & "Stack Dump", "Code Dump" etc.

I must point out that the usb loads when I use V1.1 loader.

Try another usbloader and see if it does the same thing, if it boots up fine then you know it's the loader, if not then you know it's your wii. in that case format your sd card and reinstalling the cIOS rev 13b might work as well. try and see.

So it's definitely the loader that's messed up. What I would do is remove every stuff of GXLoader from the SD card and start again mate. If it still dont work, you might have to format your SD card.

Did you put a fresh copy of the loader or did you put the one you had previously?

Awesome. Gonna try this tonight. I am still on firmware 3.3E. And on cIOS36 rev 7. Can I simply install USB Loader GX or do I need to upgrade firmware and CIOS rev?

I'm currently running 3.3, cIOS36 rev 13b and all is working. Had lots of issues initially because of the USB caddy not being picked up so bought a Western Digital 500GB My book yesterday and this works great!!!
