Hi Everyone, I'm new to this thread and I'm interested in modding my wii. I downloaded the rar, extracted it, ran install.bat with the correct drive letter, and followed the instructions for the wii portion. When I click on SD Card from the Wii channel menu, nothing happens (i.e. it doesn't ask me to load from boot.dol). My version is 4.2U. Any suggestions would be most appreciated!

Hi new to this board but can some one help me out
trying to softmad 4.1e and keep getting message have you already done this but still can not downgrade the firmware to install usb loader hbc on though?

ok so I tried the software in post 160 and still have the same problem can not finf cios249
and error 1035 installing ios16

any help would be greatly appreciated.

That worked great many thanks for that mate, I had bounced around a few forums and the general talk was dont upgrade to 4.2 but that has worked just fine.

Could I ask you a question as you clearly are in the know. I have now put usb loader gx on with the homebrew but it has to run from the sd is there a version that installs as a channel?
