V4 Wii Softmod (without zelda)

Have unpacked winrar and loaded files with 'install.bat' file, when i checked to see whats in my sd, there are four folders called 'apps', 'installer', 'private' and 'wad' and three files, named boot.dol, IOS36-64-v1042 and RVL-mios-v8.wad.

But when i follow instructions selecting sd in data-magement all that comes up is a '?'.
Have I the files loaded correctly to sd or is software version too new?
Please help me guys, I'm trying really hard here!

Ok guys since this site lost files i have lost interest in this site as i feel they dont care about the members who keep this site going. This softmod is no longer available and the soft mod for dummies will only do up to version 4. Sorry guys im not reposting the files here

I'm new to the Wii, I bought it yesterday, my Wii has the 4.0E.
I read in another site that when we are using the bannerbomb we can?t play the sports resort, is that true?
I'm trying to figure out how to mod my Wii to play backup (copied) games.

Help is Needed

I am trying to have my Wii (4.0u) have homebrew channel, and usb loading games from HD without having Zelda stuff.
I have tried many things, and all failed.

I am still searching the net for answer,

Could you please help?

My Wii is already modded and reads copied games, but not from HD.

hey, does this hack work on pal wiis runing firmware 4.0e, a friends wii is running this firmware and i dont want to risk doing anything to it that may brick it
