But to use NeoGamma you need an older Wii that will allow you play burnt games.

newer dont always mean better the only improvement in all these v9s is the ability to play gamecube games.

Trying to do all this right now... I'll let you know if it works. So far with SD card got a pre-loader, homebrew channel, and gecko backup launcher and cIOS file but it still isn't detecting the burnt discs, not sure why. Trying to get more cIOS files and a WAD Manager that works.

PS My friend previously modded my wii, didn't pay attention to how he did it. I have an original Wii, and I have the Gamma Backup launcher... it ran burnt games before, but after purchasing Donkey Kong Returns and upgrading my wii, it no longer recognized burnt games. Not sure why, been tryin to redo it all but it still hasn't worked.

well if your mate had modded it correctly in the first place you wouldn't be in this predicament.he should of installed priiloader to block updates.try using this http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...indows-170234/ to remod your console.

hi all im new to the wii side of modding

my brother brought his kids a wii for christmas it is running 4.3 when he turned the wii on it said he had unauthorised software on there i have tried a copied disk and it wouldnt load had a look to see if there is any boot loader on there and nothing any advise would be grateful as never modded a wii before when i burnt the mario party pal format i t was an iso image and used imageburn i think it burnt at 16 speed could this be the problem , also what am i looking for in terms of loader many thanks in advance

Are you sure your Wii is softmodded do you have the Homebrew channel on it?

Nintendo say.

Because unauthorized channels or firmware may impair game play or the Wii console, updating to Wii Menu version 4.3 will check for and automatically remove such unauthorized files.

once you have a usb loader attached you can put original disc s or copys into the drive and rip them to your hdd if you cannot suss out downloading them

I'm guessing here but I would say the USB Loaders will only add original game discs to a HDD not copied ones. I know it works with original game discs.

The usb loader should rip any disc original or backup
