hello

i have followed everything on method A

installed everything with no problems

i am just lost on how to play copied games on the wii ???

i have burned an iso of a game

[Wii] Wii Play (PAL) (Scrubbed) Torrent - btjunkie <<< link to the game i downloaded to try out

the iso was compress and i used imgburn and wrote it to a DVD-R disk that holds 4.7GB

i then inserted the disk and tried running on homebrew channel with uloader but it says ERROR: USB Device disconnected then i press 2 for dvd mode and i get dvd error -2 ????

then i tired on neogamma and clicked launch game on dvd then it says launching game ... then gives me a dvd read error (1048)

i understand i could be doing something completely wrong ???

did you unrar the iso before burning?also if you have a new wii you may not be able to play back up discs because of the new chip that cant be hacked,try fomatting a usb thumb drive to fat 32 and put the iso on that ,then try playing again.

yea i did unrar the file ... i do have the new black nintendo wii ... how do i format the usb thumb drive to fat32 ? i burned the iso to a dvd-r disk

am i doing this right ?

insert disk to wii
whilst sd card is in wii, open homebrew channel

should that make the game work ?

Hi, the new black wii cant play dvd back up games due to the dvd drive. The only way you can play back ups on a black wii is to run them of a external hdd or a large pen drive.

if you have a black wii you can't play backup discs,to format your usb thumb put it in computer right click on drive and pick format fat 32

Hi, the new black wii cant play dvd back up games due to the dvd drive. The only way you can play back ups on a black wii is to run them of a external hdd or a large pen drive.

i have a 250gb external hard drive that i currently have plugged into my pc ... so your telling me that if i download a game from btjunkie for example and unrar it on the external hard drive ... i just plug the hard drive into the usb on the nintendo and run ???? and i will b looking for the iso i unrared yes ???????

how do i get dvds to work on my wii ? can i not do this as it cannot read disks ?

nintendo have done something to the newer wii's that makes them not read back up dvd's,something to do with the chip in the actual dvd drive so im afraid its the hdd method only for you.

you can play movies off hdd or usb pen with mplayer-ce,look in wii download section iv'e uploaded all the apps on there.

dont know sounds like you have a missing file,try swapping this http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...-1-pack-89896/ with the one in your apps folder
