Wii 4.2E softmod tutorial. Easy to follow guide.

no, my wii is still on original version 4.2e, but was updated by mistake whe my son inserted an original game disk. and now wiiflow will stay frozen in a black screen, and the wii buttons will not respond, therefore i have to disconnect the wii from the mains in order to be able to play original disks only.

ok, so then your homebrew wont be working aswell so your going to need to remod it using the first post of this thread

Please HELP me ,i'm lost!

I'm a wii noob but have an app developer background.Tried to softmod using the guide and erased some of the IOSes i shouldn't have.Then tried the safe 4.2 updater to (at lest) get my original DVD games working without asking for update.

-uLoader asks for two IOSes (222 and 223 i think,which i deleted as noted) and crashes
-homebrew channel works.

no your not bricked for the 222/223 install them from here http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...taller-143444/ then install preloader that will stop any updates http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...loader-109168/
