Thansk for the tut. Have an old 3.3 version laying around. Update first or just softmod it on v3.3 and leave as is?

Hi guys My Grandsons got a White Wii he had it upgraded last year to 4.2E at a cost of ?32 ,his problem is his friend clicked to upgrade in the Wii menue and now he has lost the homebrew channels and cant play downloaded games anymore only originals ,I dont know anything about a Wii machine but do you think I could get it back working with this guid because he doesnt fancy paying ? 32 again hope you can help me help him thanks take care best regards

sorry to say at ?32 you were ripped off,you can get it working again read here http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...-3-mod-157379/ you really dont need to know anything about wii's the tuts are so simple.if you dont have either of these games try renting a copy

Hello,

Got to this;

7. Press down so Remove stubbed IOS is selected then press A. When asked to check for stub IOSs press A. A number of stub IOSs will be discovered. Press B for ‘NO’ for all IOS files except 222, 223, 249 and 250. Which you should press A to confirm deletion of. Press B for all other IOSs. When the discovery of stub IOS is complete you will be sent to the MMM menu. If you were not asked to remove 222,223,249 or 250 move to step 7.1. Otherwise to continue to step 8.

It came up with a screen saying, automatically removing stub IOS222 R65280 and then a few lines and last two were error! ISFS_Delete(ret = -102)

1.Yes u can
2. It is working on my 4.3 softmod so id presume it works on 4.2 aswell
