Thanks CK, ill give it a try, cant remember if i tried it or not earlier, installed so much stuff today. I'm sure i saw somewhere though that you had to force uloader to use cios 249, its another thing i can't find out how to do!

no need to force 249 start from post 36 install 224 with a base of 57 start uloader select dvd and configure to play using cios224 and let us know if it works

you can always use that option if it dont work.

Right installed cIOSx rev20b with an IOS57 base as IOS249 and it still didn't work. So i acquired another copy and ...... worked first time. So basically spent all that time trying to play a coaster All's well that ends well thanks again ck for the help at least i now have everything uptodate cios wise ( i think).

The version of gx shouldn't matter just put Digital Kaos - Downloads - cIOS240[57]-v20 for COD black ops in wads and install. I know this is working. If you still have problems try another iso. I have just noticed the link says cIOS 240 it is 249 I have just edited in downloads, sorry if it's confusing peeps.

Tried that cIso from link above still no joy,

burned game to disc..... still blank screen,

downloaded another version of the game (NTSC) using USB loader GX and!!!!! black screen :-(

The only thing I have'nt tried is another usb loader any easy tuts on cfg usb loader??

just after I posted I found a tut for cfg usb HERE:

Just followed tut and it's working all that hassel vanished at the flick of a switch.
so thanks for the offer of help I'm not going to touch the Wii at the minute coz it's working but if I get any problems I know where to come

I Got it!!!
Soft-modded with 4.2U

Install or upgrade to cfg loader v6.0(release)
click on COD black Ops
press button 1 for game options
go down to IOS: and choose <224-mload>
press button 2 to save and A to start game
No more freeze at loading... ENJOY!!!

updated conf. loader from 50 to 60 and selected ios 224...

I am running the same version of the game and have it running perfectly on the usbloader gx 938 and cIOS 249[57]v20. I have uploaded both files into the downloads section.
