For anyone having probs burning can you confirm that you are using the latest imgburn v2.5.6.0/have the layerbreak set at calculate optimal also using good quality discs burnt at 2.4x with opc unticked and 4x with opc ticked. I had a look on the tx forums and although there is a lot of posts about verify error most are coming from the same posters

When you say the drive. Is that the burner drive or xbox drive. If its the burner it sounds like a bad flash. Start from the begining again.

It is the burner drive, i have even tried DVD+R discs and the software disc that came with the drive, it doesnt pick up anything. I haver gone through the flashing process a couple of times the software comes up succesful but when i put any disc in the drive it doesnt read it

What model of drive are you using and what stock and custom firmare are you flashing. Do you have more that 1 drive in the pc if so disconect the other driver before trying to flash the new 1

Thanks for you help i have left it for a bit before i throw the drive through the window, try again in a bit, I do have another drive in so i will disconnect that next time and let you know

I can confirm that I'm using all the settings suggested. Both the Infiniti and Aone discs have never coastered before and always verified 100%. As a test to rule out the drive I backed up and burned Deus Ex on to an infiniti, it burned and verified 100% so there is no fundimental problem with the drive. It's a bit concerning that people are having problems with Verbs as well. I half expected to have problems with the Infiniti and Aones and was about to go out and buy some Verbs from Maplin or somewhere. I'll wait untill tomorrow and see what people are saying then. I'll probably start using Verbs for what its worth anyway.

I'm just burning GOW3 as a test on to an Infiniti at 4x (no choice as Imgburn says 2.4x is not supported) with opc off and burn proof off. HeeHee another coaster? What are the odds?

must admit im a bit concerned after reading this thread shoudl get my drive and 100 verbs tomorrow think im going to wait until it starts getting confirmed whats happening

why don't someone try turning off verify and just burn it, then rip it to the pc again and see if the full iso is there.

im so glad i aint got that new dvd drive yet!!

oh and sorry about saying aone worked but i got that info from some other site.

I only use verbs and they are outstanding, I burn at 2.4 speed. I use my LG external writer and have burnt Batman, gears, forza, just dance 3 with no problems.

I'm confused now. Just burnt bf3 both discs burn 100% and verify 100% pop disc 1 into the Xbox and get the disc unreadable error and get put back to the dash but from the dash the game boots fine
