OK, im new to updating firmware on drives. Got someone else to do my xbox drive so I have 2 potentially noobish questions and apologies if they've been asked but its a real pain browsing on my tablet to search through all the posts.



Anyway,

1. Will this flash OK to an installed drive in any PC or are there specific chipset requirements to meet first? I have one of the recommended drives.

2. Is there a new layer break when burning with ImgBurn or does it stay as 1913760 ?

Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks.

as long as u buy the correct drive it will be fine to flash MAKE SURE THAT IT IS THE CORRECT DRIVE THO
no RE READ THE INSTRUCTION ON BURNING AND YOU CANT GO WRONG

I can confirm that with tbe tutorial postes by dj the drives burn fine and verify fine with aone discs. Awaiting verbs hopefully in morning.

Is anyone else testing their burns wulith kprobe?

on the non printable verbs i had i got verify errors, i got some printable verbs and they have been fine. waiting for my aones to be delivered now. i got a caution sign in imgburn when burning cod mw3 though but it still verified ok.

hi there,i just ordered this LiteOn IHAS124-19 24x Internal DVDRW Black Bulk SATA ***8211; Software Included.
when i put this in my pc do i need software as well to load on it,will b using verbs,been trying to burn mw3 on pc drive but no luck,xbox says play game but screen goes black then back to dash,i tried the tut on burning the xdg3 titles but no luck,any help on this would b great,thanx

u have to flash the Drive with LT MAX burner firmware, and use imgburn with the correct settings, and thats it m8 appart from latest firmware on your 360..

at the begining of this thread there's a link to a rar file which has everything u need i.e, firmware programs and a pdf guide on how to flash. but yeh, put drive in tower before, or as i did i had the drive in a usb caddy.
