Scroll dowwn to "SECURITY /ADMIN PASSWORD"
Click the "unlock tab"
Get a screen showing "4CZL8N1-2A7B" with a space to enter the password underneath. Enter password, get = "INCORRECT PASSWORD ENTERED"
Am I asking for the right password?

Sup Guys,

I hope you can help.

I do not get locked out after 3 failed attempts or anything and I can use my laptop but I cannot change anything in the bios due to the Admin PW.

I have tried to recover the pw with other keygens to no avail. It must have an updated bios version because it lists it as Dell Inc A15 06/05/2013....thus I am not sure which service code/tag it is. I think I have tried most with the free online keygens but maybe I am doing something wrong.

I have a Dell Precision M6300 with service tag 88NGGF1-3A5B

FYI...I bought this at a local JR College Sale. They had a few of them and said they used them for AutoCAD or something. It was only $100 so I bought it for the amazing screen resolution! I had no idea these things had PWs on them like this nowadays LOL! Stupid me took it apart looking for the jumper and then I looked online and saw all the drama about admin PW and thought well serves me right!!!

Anyways any help is appreciated. I guess if I cannot figure it out here its a good $100 lesson and I need to not buy things impulsively. I guess I can try to short the chip next!
