    But it seems I'm out of luck. Just checked few posts above...and it looks like this suffix is too new.

    no you haven't done anything wrong

    The BIOS password allows you to go into BIOS and change BIOS settings generally like boot up order so you can install an operating system from CD/DVD

    an admin password to allow a windows operating system to boot up is totally different and requires some kind of software like Hirens Boot Disc to remove it
