Dell Mini Inspiron 1012 - Please help recover Bios and Hdd Pass

The xmb got me thru the bios i guess,
now its asking for a Hdd Password
gives me error code [14876]
syst serv tag [9hk7mk1]

Again thanks for all the help, i done took out the cmos battery over night,
put it back together this am.. BUT... it showed me other stuff like the bios AO6, the prcessor speed ect,
said 0271 check date and time AND 0251 system cmos checksum bad? default settings set?
then it gave me choice to enter set up? or proceed, I entered the setup to adjust clock and remove old password,
But it went to the password thing again so i entered in the XMB it passed thru but then came up with the Hdd password?
Also I downloaded the Dell_Boot_ISO.rar file and was going to try that, but there is no cdrom just a card reader slot...
It wont boot to the card, so i think it is set to boot to hard drive and skip card..
Again i would like to say thanks ahead of time and for taking your time to help me....

I have never seen a successful code given for HDD error code
the error code produces these codes but if they don't work you need to find other means

Does that mean new hhd or motherboard? "im thinking it's a wash out"
and dont wanna give up... stuborn like that, I personally dont
know any other means.. but will keep searching n trying,
if it wont boot to the card reader and goes str8 to the password
first it wants the admin password, i put in the one you gave me that worked....

I'm quoting what worked for someone else, it may not work for you

remove HDD and boot into BIOS
set an admin password
shut down and re-inseret HDD
boot back into BIOS and select option to remove HDD password

thought i had it
i hit the f2 key on boot.. ask for pw. i entered the one you sent xmb
took me right into phoenix bios setup utility... I was happy for a sec LOL
i went to security Reset supervisor password When asked for old one i used XMB again
I then could change the PW. went to USER pw and repeated above steps WORKED
Then came the hhd pw :/ not able to change, Says SET... Below that it says set HHD PW
TRYED.... again entered the ones you gave me... Gave me new error code
[23130] and systm same number... hmmmm so i restarted the mini, came up passing everything but the hhd pw
I again restarted it hit f2 for bios setup, it ask for pw, I put in the one I reset it to... right in, so HALF WAY HOME....
I then looked to see if i could set it to boot from card reader.... didnt see option...
any ideas?

nope no work did that I also figured how to make card reader boot first but still ask for hhd pw

you cannot calculate Mini HDD passwords only BIOS password
