Epson P50 waste ink pad counter

Just put this in the Downloads section, but since we suffer from those that know not how to search......

Like all new Epson printers, the P50 has built in counters to stop you having fun.
The worst of these is the Waste Ink Pad counter. Without a reset key or a trip to the ripoff specialists, your beloved printer won't work.

Until now. This is the tool found on the engineers disk that allows you to reset the counter without spending any money.

Follow the included tutorial as if you stray into other options you could turn your printer into a paperweight.

Be careful to actually remove the ink (or put some tube in it) or it will spill over at some point

But that will spoil the fun.

With every print I check to see if the dog has changed colour while he's asleep under the desk.

The P50 is easy to mod as there's an access port on the back that allows you to redirect the waste pipe to an external container.

There's no virus in this file. I fully scanned it before & after I ran the program.
Just checked it again with Malwarebytes & Avast, all clear.

Try turning off your antivirus while you run it. Or better still, change your antivirus as it's finding things that don't exist.

                        I'm guessing you're using Norton.

Turn it off. Uninstall it, get rid of that resource hungry pile of crap.

Try Avast, NOD32, Malwarebytes (ask nicely & I might give you access to some codes)

just disable the antivirus , download the program, run it ,do the required job ,then enable the antivirus again, it works successfully with out any problem even with window 7,(there is NO virus in this software)
                          good luck
