Not pressing anything also leads to the white screen. I've tried both F2/F12 and no key at all while having a bootable disk in the laptop.

Still nothing seems to be working
have you tried F2 to BIOS and then try password

only other thing I can suggest is to try a usb keyboard just in case one of the keys on the laptop is malfunctioning.
or if its a newish laptop it might be 2nd generation of suffix -595B which cannot be calculated with our calcs

I've tried to use another keyboard but it gave me the same result. And I don't think it's a very recent model since there's a sticker on the bottom saying that the warranty expires in 13/10/2010.

Once again thanks for helping me

the password is to get into BIOS only

as your HDD had suffix 2A7B I calculated your service tag as being the same
try this calculated with suffix -595B mwle5g4p 3rd is l for leg

also on first password did you try pressing Ctrl + Enter

                          Ctrl + Enter didn't work.
not the calculated suffix you gave me either...

do you need more information about the machine?

are you trying to get into the BIOS settings or are you wanting Admin password.
the passwords I gave are only for BIOS.
the service tag is normally followed with a suffix like -595B the suffix is needed to calculate password
I have to go now so will get back to you later
