xp sata driver problem

does enyone have some solution for instaling xp on laptop vhit sata hard disc or heve some link where I can get xp whit sata drivers,

Now these SATA drives are a bit funny.

I had a similar problem with my Vista laptop with a SATA drive. I played around with it for a few months. I decided to put WinXP 2002 Pro SP3 on it. I booted it up of the CD and it said No hard drive found. I can bootup of the Vista CD and it formats and installs.

Well my new desktop computer has a SATA drive and it installs on there without any glitches. It finds that SATA drive without any special drivers.

you can change the SATA Controler Settings in the Bios !!

(SATA Mode to Compatible)

or you can modify yours XP CD with Winfuture XP ISO Builder and put the Sata Drivers on it
