    Huawei X6 (Welcom A99)

    Hi, I am stumped,
    I have a Welcom A99 (Huawei X6) Mobile Phone
I bought the phone in Thailand and have been using it in Australia on an Optus Carrier, now I want to change to the Telstra carrier and it wont get service
    I guess it needs unlocking
    I have my IMEI number
    How do I do this?
    Regards
    Chiron

Don't know it by name but try Unlock phone, modem or data card with DC-unlocker software as there is no chance of a free unlock on newer ZTE.

Nothing for free: www.dc-unlocker.com is your cheapest option.

ce1588 and ce0682 are European Conformity codes and nothing to do with the modem type!

The second IMEI you give is not valid...

                      Look for a K number on the modem i.e. K3520 or K3520-Z

If the modem has a model with -Z at the end, they can't be unlocked for free...

Is this thread for real ? Nearly every poster is new and has only the one post. Me thinks someone is bumping there own thread and me also thinks it's most likely back-doored .
