Does it show in Device Manager? The red light can mean a lot of things...

Unplug the device, reboot the PC and re-insert the modem and check again. You should hear the device make the distinctive noise when it's recognised by Windows...

tnx alot.. hm.. do you know an app that supports huwaei e153u-1, e153u-2, e153u-3, e151u-1, e152u-1 and ZTE MF612 if there is and its tested pls advice me the link to it. i would love to have such apps.. and hopefully somebody could give tips on how it is done manually with out the apps.. so we could develop more apps that gives more functionalities. tnx alot

Hi Dear Jim.Mahoney, after i use this unlocker I got SIM Status: unloked, But when I try to change other Operator SIM, it's said that invalid SIM and in that Tool said SIM Status: Locked , could you help me, please?

i think its a customised firmware dude.. hm.. i encountered it also from a huwaei e151u-1 isp suncellular in the philippines its openline when you insert providers sim but if u open it up its not or changed sim.. hm.. i think its in the firmware customization.. i just hope there is a solution to it.. that's why i am hoping to have an app to back up the firmware before even reflashing it to unbranded but i don't know where to look for these apps... hope someone would give us a tip about this.. i was even hoping to find a tutorial of how its done manually... like the sequence of commands etc.. coz somebody has said it can be done using hyperterminal.. but hm.. i dont know the standard baudrate of these devices.. . all i got when i attempted it is AT commands but not as i expected coz these looks like garbage which i don't understand..

No use to him whatsoever! He has a CDMA modem and this stuff is for GSM modems!!
