Have you tried to download & install one of the non-branded connection managers as advised in the first post? Or use the debranding tool for the dashboard?

You obviously have not read it:

          2. The correct way to unlock is by inserting a non-accepted SIM card into the device. You should get a box appear asking for the code and once entered the modem is unlocked! Remember that you only get 10 attempts so don't keep trying codes if you get errors!! Some providers have their dashboard software "doctored" so that it doesn't ask for the unlock code! The simple way around this is to download a PC install version of the generic (i.e. unbranded) Mobile Partner dashboard software, you can get that HERE

If this does not work you'll either have to flash new firmware or use a service like www.dc-unlocker.com

Anyone know if we can use the SIM card inside the wireless modem (with "3") in a mobile phone for internet access?

              Thanks

Without unlocking the mobile brandband dongle, can we use different SIM card from the same carrier (I use 3 and I have three 3 SIM cards)?

The SIM card from my mobile phone and my brandband dongle look different in the circuity. After locking, can I insert my phone SIM card into my dongle? My phone card can get on the internet through 3G. Thanks

For data access yes, but probably not to make voice calls... SMS should however be available...

See first post in thread on how to use the code. You will of course have to setup a new profile in your "dashboard" and in the case of 3 you might be best to use a copy of Mobile Partner instead of the 3 software, again see first post!
