hi everyone i got some questions, i have a blackberry 8800 the phone is locked by administrator. i cannot use the bbm and text message. i don't know how to get the mep code i tryed the message above but am getting the massage to disable charge mode i i don't know how to do that. i have the imei code 354672.01.105026.5. i tryed this site Zibri's Blog: Hidden things are usually the best i got to the engineering screen but i don't know what section to find the mep code is in.

also i have a 8700 and it is also locked. but it ask me for password to start using the phone and i don't even know that. is there a way to get past that?

after you get into the engineering screen go to "OS ENGINEERING SCREEN" and locate "DEVICE INFO" MEP should be at the bottom under SW PARTS LIST.

can i get an unlock code please?
is there a way to get past the main unlock code on my 8700r? it is the code you would enter on startup or to unlock the functions?

Shawm , your pin is in the options menu under status or you can just type mypin in a blank message. the mep code is found the same way as the other blackberry device.
