Spiderbox is no more illegal than tm or dreambox.
It's when the end user applies patches etc that this happens.
Shop reopened ok last monday so all a bit baffling.Comment

there was also info saying a property in Sudbury
was also involved in the raid so there could have been stock
removed from both addresses, but who knows or even cares
it has nothing to do with anyone except those involved, the
thing that makes it worse and has lead to lots of posts everywhere is if there was'nt a fire why say it, the truth always comes out in the end and then everyone knows whats happened plus the banning anyone who dares to ask on there forum for info or posting what they have read is not good they were very handy at taking the orders for the receivers etc from

Can i just say Manic01, If you just have a look at this link then you will see it does make sense as its all there on there trading standards website, I have two spiderboxes and i am on there website as a member as you Know as we havent always got on there!!! but i think we all need to stop wearing blinkers and maybe get a pair of bollocks i for one are not one for licking arse on the forum but we know a lot of people are
I will proberbly get banned from there website as no doubt someone will say go read his post, But hey we have been lied too, and mate you have too, all i can say is thank god to mates as if like a lot of other people who bought the box for service + and dont really have a clue about the sat world i would be well pi**ed off and completly stuck as most of them people have been banned from the site now!! and dont have a clue what the box can do, and were promised a year, and before you say anything yes i know its called a gift but also that is how the box is promoted and it really was just bullsh*t!!!

Mate. I understand what your saying, I meant it makes no sense ie they are non patched boxes in the shop.
Only thing that makes them illegal is when they are patched.
Only thing I can think of is along with the Tring card issues with MPS/FAPL/Sky over 3pm footy and selling non eu cards are that trading standards must of purchased patched spiderboxes from shop.
Now that would make sense.Comment
