Mate. I understand what your saying, I meant it makes no sense ie they are non patched boxes in the shop.
Only thing that makes them illegal is when they are patched.
Only thing I can think of is along with the Tring card issues with MPS/FAPL/Sky over 3pm footy and selling non eu cards are that trading standards must of purchased patched spiderboxes from shop.
Now that would make sense.

Although if the Trading Standards undercover officers asked for the FTA Spiderboxes to be patched that might be viewed as entrapment by a court.

I'm new but I have two questions,

1). Is Service + down then or does it appear to be coming back on line
2). Should anyone that's used Service + be expecting a letter and a fine any time soon?

I'm expecting no letter and fine, How do authorities know where I live even if service+ was to work,

Anyhow, The seller is Darkman, And he is putting this software into the box, Its recommended by the SELLER you should update the box with the firmware stated on the website, The box is Linux and you can LEGALLY connect it to the internet ( if your not card sharing of course ) Therefor i don't see why we, The buyer should get in any trouble for something someone is giving us within our package, also retailers state " free gift ", This means its part of the product, Its like someone selling a robbed car and the buyer getting in trouble when they know who the guy who sold it to him was, Anyone agree ?

it called receiving stolen goods
And watching pay tv with out a valid subscription is against the law its classed as fraud
lots of us C/S but we all know its illegal and the consequences if we are caught
