UNIQUE ID FOR PROTEK 9750 HD IS IT IN BOX?

all 9600ip boxs made before 2009 (running non-id fw) have had the server connection cut off but if you update to id sw and get yourself a id all will be ok. regards mdt

i think it will be any pre 2009 boxs whether linksat,maxx1000 ect but if a id is purchased then the box will be ok again. imho i think that the servers are getting too full what with all the clones logging in with the free sw,also that this is a drive for funds to keep things going on the id software versions. regards mdt

i use the protek 9600ip not hd and have plenty of epl footie and films to watch but if you are buying the hd version you get even more sats and channels to choose from, and with the team that supports the protek server are exellent..... there has been some problems with nova sports and is now running with sports 1&2 of wich shows epl..... Hi there bj1 where would i go to find out whats available on the gift channels with this box as im going to be doing a motorised set up for a mate and he wants something thats easy to use and update and have been told that this is the box. many thanks.

visit nannox forum and go to on line list section it shows you everything thats available if your m8 going to buy one he should go for a hd version they are well worth it....BJ1

9600 IP with no ID are still OK!!

I hope I am not breaking any forum rules by sharing the following information: this receiver has been blocked for the reasons mentioned above. But a clever guy managed to make it work and all the 9600IP owners in Br***ol had it patched for a tenner... without ID! I watched the guy doing it and I described the bit of procedure I could remember on the nannoxx forum. One member even thanked me as he had a go at the procedure and it worked! Unfortunately, my post was deleted by the forum administrators as it threatens their future selling of new HD boxes. I thought forums were for sharing but they didn't see it my way. What a pity! At the time I am writing, my Protek 9600 IP is still working as well as my Maxx 1000!!

Not at all. The guy who was patching the protek 9600 ( for only a tenner) did this:
He did a factory reset, injected a file called 3pehr.bin which, after googling it, was a middle-east-European conversion software. Then I could see him inject T59. Then a file which ends in "3.bin". I could not see it clearly as I was not wearing my glasses. Then he did a channels search on hotbird. It did not work first time so he had to do it 4 times. When he did the hotbird search again, he went on JSC-sports 1 then 2 and we had the picture. At no moment did he use an ID.
I posted the same procedure which I understand is not complete and a member of the nannoxx forum was able to make it work. Then everybody was asking him to PM it for them. After that, my post was deleted and I was banned from receiving or sending private messages.

I forgot to mention that, since this guy patched my and 9 other Proteks, it is still working at the time I am writing this. I will be happy if someone could succeed... and tell the others!! Forums are for sharing!

are you certain that all these recievers are manufactured before 2009 as its these boxs that have been switched off. i know all about the me to eu firmware upgrade as ive used it myself many times to bring back boxs(mainly maxx1000,s) from no connection/rebooting problems and ive posted it on here somewhere. imho i still think that even if you have to buy a id file that its a small price to pay for a vgvfm box run by the excellent team behind it. im probably wrong about this but the me to eu conversion software might change the mac address and thus allow reconnection on pre 2009 models. regards mdt

My Protek 9600IP has been bought 3 years ago and my Maxx1000 2 years ago. I remember I had problems patching it so I cloned it to the Protek. No problems since then. The Maxx did not stop working at all. When the Protek stopped, I took it to the guy who did the procedure I mentioned earlier. Also, when I asked the question on the Nannoxx forum about why the original Protek stopped and the clone version still works, a member mentioned it could have something to do with Mac address. So your guess could be correct!
