see i have got my asian channels still and my mates are all watching them from my server but i cannot or sky will give me sky world for the sports movies etc. so how is that i got the basic channels sky news,bbc1 etc and all my asian channels but no sky world

I would have thought that if Sky were sending you a letter in regards to the contents of that email you would have received a recorded letter to your address.

Its a bit like saying the police would send you a email telling you that you were caught speeding.

I read another post like this on another forum where the author of that "E mail" left in the part where it says to return the card in the envelope provided." They were soon caught out on that one!

telephone line only has to be in for the 1st year, cccam wouldnt give it away but possible using sky bb would.

i do not have sky broadband ...i got virgin broadband

i am coming to a conclusion its something to do with boxkey generator

yeh ******* is the e-mail you write and they will sen dyou that e-mail which is autogenerated e-mail and if want to pursue it further you need to send them your viewing card

the asian package is purchased different to the sky pack (phone number)no doubt when you return the card you will have neither

problem getting upgrade from sky

hi folks

i have a mate who had sky basic package and also all the asian channels for about 6 months. Now he wishes to upgrade to include sky world but each time he rings sky for upgrade they keep saying there is problem and the system will not let them upgrade the system.

i be truthful and mention that he had given the card to his friend whilst he went abroad which was 4-6 week period. Now his friend admitted to him that he was experimenting with a c/s server and had used his card in the server and it made me think could that have been the problem.
has his card details some how gone back to sky but at the same time he has not got no letter from - type you get for etc. and his account is up to date in payment.

maybe his just paranoid and there is a genuine problem from sky own system which does not relate to him

If people are going to be stupid they will be picked off by sky.

mate the end of the day this is the result u get from c/s if ur running a server u take ur chances and u got caught its just the way it works cant be helped im guessing has been mentionied u got caught via boxkeygen but @ the end of the day sly arent stupid they no whats going on .....

Indeed. What more proof is needed than the address he was given: 'Intelligence & Investigations Department' - That's a whole department of people whose job it is to identify and stop cardsharers... among other things of course.

m8, only thing i can sugest is wot was said in a previous post, make sure u damege the chip on the card so when they get it bk they cant read it, coz one thing i know is when u put ur card in a reader it leaves a trace and sky will know uve been messing with the card..
