Help Newby to Satallite

Hi Guys
Last couple of things then i should know all i need to know to get started.
What LNB will i need to run two setups my tv and my sons and what does c line mean.

Dual or quad lnb is needed to run two boxes depending on box.

Linux command line, basically tells the box where the server is kind of like a web address. People also sometimes call them sea lions as obviously cs talk is banned on this site.

new to this website how do i get free cable without having the internet?

i had a starview box or two about 3 years back that connected to the tv and virgin media cable which were great but they all went off -nag3.i dnt know much about the new ones and could do with some much needed advice .please help

where is the best place and price to get the cardshare cline from???

Do the sea lions vary in quality or are they the same?

Is it 1 Cline per box?

Hi

If you live in the Midlands there is a sat company that supply and fit sky minidish, this probably depends on your location. They charged me ?50 to supply and fit when I asked them to install for a friend of ine.

Dreambox 500s maybe too much for a novice so maybe the easy openbox s9/s10. The S9 is probably about ?70 to ?80 dont know about S10.

So for about ?120/?130 or less your setup is ready for sly uk.

Then if you google c/s as it cant be discussed here you are nearly there on your budget.......if you get really lucky might even get change out of ?200 .

If you are not a novice and you go for the dreambox 500s then you will defo get change.

Hi mate can you pm what company charged you 50 quid to supply and fit sky dish.
Got a feeling your not far from me and ive a mate who wants one,my last mate got charged 70 quid.

I know it's an an old tread but this one best suits me
Been reading for a few days now looking at which box to but thinking about a skybox f3..are they any good for noobs or should you guys recommend any other I need good quality hd I had a fix sly dish up

I got a friends old openbox 500s to play about with before I commit to a box.
I have googled Clines where could be best to buy from and can I use the line on the 500s and change when I bought my box?

We cannot discuss card share on here, google is your friend.
Yes you can swap line between receivers.
Openbox is ok receiver.

whichever box you buy you need the lot

flash it, add channel list, add cs
