Hi Thanks, I tried that previously and got the exact same result.... also I tried putting in an ip address instead of the server name made no difference.. I may have to try an older router I have. I have servers running through this Dlink router and have never had a problem.... very strange....Comment

Tried the factory reset again then loaded unpatched firmware, then factory reset once more then loaded patched firmware...... still the same issues. I've now got a hold of another router and upgraded its firmware to the latest to see if it makes a difference.Comment

Guess I must be one the lucky one's, have the beta installed on my blade, no problems at all with my VM SuperHub(which is a netgear), DCHP is on and box is connected to it using a Open Media WiFi Bridge.Comment

Hi, I put the original firmware in to check the networking on unpatched firmware.
Well, I'vr found that if you use the option menu and reset database and reset all 4 entries, then factory reset... you get a cleaner reset. I had city information left when resetting using engineer menu only.
After doing this, the box seems to be networking better, I also used a different server from my provider. Have now had 2 days with no freezing.
(note that changing router made no difference)
I see there is even later firmware out now on the Blade Support site with bug fixes.....wonder when this will be patched.Comment

So far so good, a lot better than the previous firmware, so far not 1 single issue.
Before flashing i cleared the 4 database entries in the menu, then powered off and back on holding menu button to get to engineers menu, then factory reset and loaded new firmware from USB key.Comment

i have just upgraded my Vermin to 20meg and the new netgear hub router i have got works brilliantly with my Blade. With the old netgear router i was using first it wouldn't work with this new firmware then once i factory reset the box it started to work, the onlye issue i had was i had to keep going to the ip settings menu and press RED to connect the box to my wireless everytime it went on standby or was turned off.
However this new netgear router connects autmatically, so that problem is probably with just the old netgear routers.

Ok, still some issues with this new firmware.....
1. Setting static IP causes scrambled message after circa 12 hours.. youtube, blade online still ok (with 2 different roouters)
2. Setting DHCP causes scrambled after circa 1 day, needing rescan of IP to pick up NEWCAMD.... blade online, youtube still work.... leads me to believe that patch for 9991 is still not 100% in this firmware. (with 2 different routers)
3. in EPG description for programes only goes as far as next... after that the title and time/date changes... but the description stays the same???Comment
