2) I have been involved in satellite forums for may years, helping run them etc and stand by what I say. the eurovox cable brigade invaded the sat section for plug n play sat tv for sky uk but all the main receivers are bought for most other sats.

Despite what I posted on this thread only a few pages back http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums....php?p=1807928 the next time I see mention of that specific UK provider from anyone there will be a one month ban issued.

We moderate this forum and if a simple polite warning is ignored then this is the next course of action.

I am getting serious glitching and sometimes no broadcast at all on tm5402 hd channels in the evening (usually just films and sports but it is starting to spread to other hd) sd are fine. Strange thing though is I have exactly the same set up details (so to speak) in my solo clone and experience absolutely no issues at all, to the extent of testing the same channel in both boxes at the same time. So my conclusion is that closed source are likely to be effected much more than Linux. It would be handy if the lads could come with an updated add-on for tm.

I have a DrHD Grand triple here closed source but runs a very similar system to the 5402 and Blade and have not noticed anything at all difference between this and my Uno and my new Solo2 all are working as expected.

my original hd reciever has been updated 3 weeks ago with software and had the card update 2 days after and all is running fine here. regards mdt

First I| suggest that you trawl through all the posts on here with that providers name in them especially the openbox section and remove them all.
If you think its search engines that bring certain providers here and nothing to do with the actually content etc you must live in cuckoo land.
Anyway I will enjoy the ban and will go elsewhere.

My apologies for the delay in my response, as I was quite busy today.

Thank you for your suggestion of trawling through all threads and posts with the same providers name. I can do that quite adequately with a simple search and then edit each with a muti post moderation. Although as you have "helped" run so many forums I thought you would have known this.

Whereas my warning was to a V.I.P. member that should understand how spiders work, given a thread title based on keywords, again it looks like you either misunderstood this simple request or simply didn't understand it, but as you stated you helped "run" so many forums I thought this would be quite simple for you to understand.

I have also noted your recent posts on other threads whereby you negate the recent high ECMs on this particular provider based purely on your knowledge of the NDS encryption system. You have used your "status" here and across numerous forums as to appear knowledgeable about such matters. But to say you are far from knowledgeable in such topic is an understatement.

You simply cut and paste what at best is second hand information and then try to peddle it as fact. Your comments on the fact that the satellite scene has been ruined by the cable plug n play faction has some merit, but you and your friends on the commercial side have driven this, despite you continuously distancing yourself from them.

You have never understood the true meaning of community and also never understood the how and why the community works under the scene without the commercial BS.

With that I reserve the right to live in "cloud cuckoo land" and also to ban you for life for not only this post but many others.

Not great to see a VIP member venting their anger like this but this also shows to new members that not everyone on here has a divine right to be rude.
Good on you Satsmo I know it can't be easy moderating a forum but I hope this serves a purpose in educating members whoever they are and how important they think they are that they can get away with snide comments like that.

well guys been watching this thread and its going nowhere . okay changes are going to happen. it was stated earlier on

but ive had no bother live events etc ..

i think alot is down to overloaded, paid servers and thats is what a shame ..


its illing the hobby anyway ..people who do this are just killing it ..


the end will be nigh ..and its all down to paid server greedy people.
