Can anyone confirm that showtime will be losing the epl rights
after this season?....i,m just about to buy a large dish to receive
it,but if its only gonna be of use for 1 season i wont bother...

Showtime will be certain to get it.. ART only lost the rights because they broadcasted off 13E as well as 7W.. Deliberately pumping EPL into Europe on the cheap at $50 per card got right up Sky's nose and as they pay the most money the EPL had to listen to them..

..mate for all 360 games a ?150+ dish is well worth it..thats like a sub! plus if showtime win the rights again then your havin a laff considering the server is still running off course!

Whats the minimum dish one would need to receive showtime? Im currently fighting with my 90CM motorised dish to align it.

After thou 1W is there anything intresting going west? Or rest of the action is in East? Im asking because my Dish if installed will not be able to go past 5W because of trees and house wall.

... you would be looking at a minimum 2.4m dish mate..

1.2m if you live in Southampton or Dover..

If its raining then forget most Showtime Sports channels even on a 2.4m dish..

i,m gonna try a 1.8mtr...but until i lign it up i dont really know
for sure what results i,m gonna get!!..i,m sure the vertical transponders will come through ok,but the horizontals may be tricky with such a small dish.. but soon as i,v got it set up i will let you all know how its performing.

you should get a lock on the stronger Verticals but the Horizontals may be tricky..

They broadcast matches on Showtime Comedy Extra and Showtime Shasha on a Saturday so there's two you will get to see

on a non penatrating ground mount, therefore not requiring planning permission as it is not permanently fixed.. like this..



if you load some sandbags on it keeps the dish still
