with your dish have you put fishing line across the dish at various points to make sure they all meet in the middle to make sure the dish is built up correctly

if you are serious of getting showtime you really need a decent dish like prodelin, channel master, irte etc

for those down south a decent 1.2-1.5 will get 7west

i struggle on a 1.5m dish just out side of liverpool cant get the horizontals at all

i'm in cheshire and in the evenings or mornings
in good weather i get the vertical chns on a
1.2 channel master with a 0.2 lnb but any rain etc:
i get nothing from this sat

Took the dish apart and re-assembled today to see if i could
improve things...and i am now getting 70% quality on the verticals so a bit more improvement...i hardly seem to lose any quality in the daytime maybe it,ll drop to about 66% cos this is what i was losing (4%)before the rebuild...
I think if i had bought the 2.4m i,d be getting the horizontals too...

Not really JaCkPoT..it didnt cost a lot,and at least i,v got 5 good
movie channels,and still get 1 3pm kick off...it would be nice to
see how an andrews of the same size performs on this bird,but i have a hunch even this wouldnt bring in the horizontals where i am..

abu dabi tv who have prem rights after this season have their chnls on vertical transponders,and their 2 sports chnls
are coming in really strong...

I dont see any benefit in fighting with intelsat on 7W in order to get showtime. thor 1w shows all the footy, every prem game and has good reception with a small dish like 90CM. Other easier sats like 13e, 19.2e, 16e, do have loads of english footy

well showtime shows nearly every match , dont get me wrong nordic 1w is good

broascasters on 1W do not show all 380 Premier League LIVE.. only Showtime Arabia do.. There are 4 games missing off 1W in the first weekend..

Also Showtime Arabia is a very very good package for top televison series and movies in dual audio with english language

the length of time the softcams are now running uninterupted (luring us into a false sense of security) at a good guess i would say that there'll be no footy available on thor 1w pretty soon

7west is only worth it if you are an ardent fan of a lower teams in the epl.

i dont know mate.. dont forget terrier's Innovative opens up Showtime.. it has some excellent movies and all the best series from the USA.. its deffo worth it if your box opens it up fully

I do not know if any of you read my post on Showtime ! http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...43/#post253212 but there is no point in spending money on a big satellite dish or looking forward to watching much of the EPL on Showtime, not only are they to release a new Receiver with Anti-Piracy technologue but also Anti-Cardsharing Technologue within the next few months they are also to change over to Viaccess immently along with a rebranded name ShowOrbit due within the next Month ....

Showtime is not the answer after Digitv has gone for football if you intend spending money to receive this service ...
