i guess the hybrid tuner is for cable or terrestrial one or the other and not both at the same time ?

there is a cable.xml and a satellite.xml and with each tuner configured they read to correct file to download channels. Sat and cable use completely different frequencies. The only time a problem will arise is if you try to run autobouquets unless lraizer or o.e alliance can make them compatible as each plugin changes the lamdb so in turn wipes out either cable or sat list depending on what one you use last
but I have heard vix are working on it but not from the horses mouth so it could just be garbage.
