That's correct but C/T will get you hd cable but only sd terrestrial. Whereas C/T2 will get hd on terrestial as well.

I'm sure they do. That's without the extra hybrid tuner presume

does having the sat tuner and say the cable tuner fitted in the quad does the system not get confused with the 2 different channel lists?

if i remember rightly few years back had a dm7025 with sat n cable tuners it had no probs as every channel has its own unique numbering to make it easy to explain to its tuner or what ever tuner has scaned channels if that makes sense

I think Gigablue made a mistake with the Quad plus price wise.
The old Quad was ?50 cheaper and the differences in specs are negligible .
Quad Plus is almost the same price as the Solo 2 now .

The receiver doesn't get confused just the user there is a cable.xml and a satellite.xml and with each tuner configured they read to correct file to download channels. Sat and cable use completely different frequencies. The only time a problem will arise is if you try to run autobouquets unless lraizer or o.e alliance can make them compatible as each plugin changes the lamdb so in turn wipes out either cable or sat list depending on what one you use last but I have heard vix are working on it but not from the horses mouth so it could just be garbage.

I was originality getting the old GigaBlue Quad but after I had paid for it the supplier in Finland ran out of stock, then got told that they had been Discontinued so I got the Solo2 instead
but I still fancy getting the Quad plus mainly for them Cable options, I suppose I could get ?200 for my 2 month old Solo2
