    I agree duo 2 is a great box but you could've fitted twin cable tuner as this is also available. The number of channels recorded via sat depends on transponder I just recorded 9 on one twin sat tuner with no doublers. I think this thread has run it's course though.

      You could have purchased a Dual DVB-C/T/T2 tuner in place of the single and then you would not have had to use the USB tuner

      I did not want to confuse the OP with even more recording features as it stands to actually record 2 completely different transponders either H or V you need 2 tuners i think we all know that you can record multiple H or V transponders but youre limited to what are on those transponders. so for true record one watch anything else you need 2 separate tuners just in case of confusion

        When I bought the cable tuner, a twin tuner was not available.

            Lol I have 1 quad tuner 1 triple tuner and 3 twin tuners. 3 have internal hard drives and I never record flukc all except the fights that are on to late for me

              I'm all for a bit of over-engineering but I'm amazed that anyone can be watching one thing and recording three (let alone seven) other things that are worth watching at the same time, especially given that there'll probably be a repeat on the way shortly.
