Bet you feel like you headmaster in a dunce school at the mo Mate
just picked this up, its because the motor/dish has not found the sat so it stays on the screen, you can reset the darkmotor by sending it to 0 by the manual buttons, disconnect the coax from the motor, hold the manual east/west buttons together for 5 seconds then reconnect the coax and thats it reset.

Am i losing my mind , in suspecting the LNB faulty ? , anyone ever had a new duff one ?. I'm 100% sure of my wiring Mate , but with you saying 63% SNR represents no signal , it may be worth swapping ? , i've still got my the old one off my sky dish and i know that was working .Seems n matter what i do , SNR 63% , AGC 88-90%

could be duff not sure how you would check it though, have you got a sat meter? as you move the dish with it inline you would hear the change in tone indicating theres a signal around. i think were missing something simple here!, have you put ypur long/lat settings in the reciever and getting the channel (not the picture) bbc world 1w on the reciever?

Long and Lat saved in the motor config table Mate , also set to many sats via DiSEqC Rotor , bbc1 world isn't in my sat/posn table and i don't know how to get it , so i've highlighted Int.707/Thor2.3(0.9W) and tried a scan on that with no transponders found , SNR still stuck on 63% , which i'm told in this thread represents no signal , so i'm off to swap the LNB after i've had a cuppa , unless someone slaps me on the wrist and says Whoa there ! , Ta for your help again .

just swapped the LNB , but still stuck on 63 , with fingers numb and a head that's dumb , ive gone in for my tea !
Seriously , it's improved the AGC to 95% , but still SNR stuck on 63% , think i might just car boot the lot and wait a few years for a new generation cable viewer !

plug your box into the router and download the latest channel settings, bbc world is on a strong transponder. i found ignoring the meter on the screen till i got a picture done the trick, dont bin it yet. you will feel great when that first picture comes on trust me, we will get there!
