sorry i mean is it nabilo image, pli image or DK etc (what comes on the tv screen when you switch the box on?). also what box is it, a dreambox if so which model??

Me who should be sorry Mate (see how clueless!) , when you power up and press menu , "Enigma" menu displays , it's a dreambox 500-S .

still not sure what image it is, try nabilo darkstar 2 if you can flash it thats what im using you can download the keys, settings straight to the box. probley can with the image your using but im still not sure what your using there all enigma images m8!

try hooking it up to the router with a earthnet lead and press the blue or yellow button, there should be a download/addons section and download the settings its basicly a bouqet for sat, go for the cst channel settings if they are there. thats which ones i use.

I can't find this image in the DK's dreambox downloads section Mate , only DK's own , am i missing it somewhere ?

there you go ed, stick it on your box with dreamup then hook it up to your router and boot it up, stick your lat/long settings in, save and exit all menu's. press the yellow button twice your then in the download section. go to settings and download CST motor settings then it should install the channel motor settings on the box. dont forget to unplug the box for 30 seconds after that to reboot it and then your channel lists inc bbc world 1w will be there as if by magic! and sometimes the image will freeze/stick, if it happens unplug it from the mains to reboot it propley, once you plug t in leave t for a couple of mins before you press the remote, dont know why but it seems more stable then. giz a shout tommorow let me know how your doing.

dm600pvr.....i was using the same image but the dm600 version, i then went to settings and instaled the cst motor settings...was that the incorect one??

the image i posted was for a d500 which uses e1 settings

sorry i think it is enigma1 the 600, heres the one you want. flash with dreamup. also i get freeze with darkstar 2, best to when you switch the box on leave it for a few mins before you press the remote. seems to sort its self out. if it does freeze, switch the mains off for 30 secs then start again.

press the yellow button twice and there will be 3 cst channel settings in the download settings, did you see them? ignore the vhanibal settings and the rest, the cst settings you need will have "motor" on it these are what you need if yours is motorised. the other 2 will have mono,lnb ignore them. also did you unplug your box for 30 secs after you installed the cst channel settings?

yes...i was running the nabilo darkstart image since last week....i read your post and then i installed the cst motor settings...i then waited for it to install and unpluged for over 30 secs, i then turned it back on, but it jus freezes at the Blue "DARKSTAR" screen, then it will got all black after a few mins for like 2 secs then go back to the Blue "DARKSTAR" screen, no buttons respond...

sounds like a reflash with dreamup my freind, somethings not right. the cst settings work fine on my 500 did you use the cst "motor" settings?
