i ordered mine yesterday 26pm for sky sports ,movies and espn mine came to but i skipped and passed on a few of the entertainment packs will come to about 30 if you want them all

Just priced up everything except sports, kids & music for ?18.50 pm incl the hd pack and free + box, was going to get a spiderbox and C/S, but for that price I'll go legit!, that will be a first!

Taken from their terms & conditions: Minimum Sky TV/Sky+/HD Pack/Multiroom subscriptions 12 months. I've signed up, gonna cancel after 12 months, hopefully their customer retentions dept will then let me keep it for the same price, if not then its time to c/s also the ?10 hd pack is free for the year

wish i had read the whole thread BEFORE getting on the phone to sky.
i recently took out HD and TOLD the advisor that there was an offer of free hd for a year. to which she said no there isnt. so now this is on 'again' i rang to say had been mis sold the product. the guy on the phone didnt seem to think it was only for anyone in particular only that it had started up again (28/01/10). and that these offers are on and off throughout the year. so it maybe worth while not mentioning the codes at all. as neither the inital lady nor the guy requested one from me.

lets see what they can do for me.

just imagine if you took this offer and still went down the c/s route how many other channels you will have available to you. even at the full price if you are then exposed to the whole of europe, isnt that a good deal better than what we get here alone?

Is it too late to cancel your order and re do it through the web?, I've had my confirmation email, coming to fit it in march, (just b4 nag 3 hits ) not bothered about getting foreign sat stuff there's enough on sly, if they won't renew the offer price when it runs out I'll sell the hd box and put the money towards a c/s capable box

ive had my HD since beginning of jan. so cant 'cancel' as such but looking for reduction in price (ie my HD money back) as the offer HAD exsisted b4 and was told it never ever did or will.

just ordered,engineer coming on the 25th feb,canceled sky 10 years ago never thought i would go back,only got it for the HD channels,wicked.

I was going to order it before xmas when the free hd box offer was on, but I didn't and the offer stopped.

I won't be letting this one pass me by though...happy days!

i have never known sky to do more than 12months contracts,it better be 12months just bloomin ordered it.
if it isnt then i will be canceling it straight away
