these offers are still active if you have a family or friend who works for sky ask them to get you a code for the offer of 1/2 price hd sky for fammily and friends this offer is not for the genral public but for people who work for sky to dish out

I hope the conversation never went something like, DC-can I have the half price HD offer? SKY- No, DC- Well a load of people I know have used a dodgy code of a well known web site; SKY- Tell us more please? ;-)

as i posted earley i have spoken to sky and they confermed i WAS getting the discount deal but i did change some numbers in the discount codes posted anyway waiting for friday am and a nice sky installer to come

I would have thought they will honour the deals, but stop any new ones as they have cancelled the codes. at the end of the day, the info was posted all over the place whos to know its for freinds and family?, just play dumb if theres any problems.

well they can give me the discount or take it away

i did some googleing and they had these offers before and they have honored them til the get over subscribed so i presume the codes got hammered to death till the they get x amount of subs and end them

These codes are given to Sky employee's and associated contractors only and given to family and friends. The original code owner (engineer) will get a slap on the wrists for not following the terms of the codes being issued.

Also Sky will if after investigating find orders have been placed and installed using these codes will remove the offer by adding back onto the active accounts the costs that was free ie hd pack and full package price.

If your not using a code issued by a engineer or staff member then be advised that your package will be hit.

The codes are use only once codes and multiple applications will start bells ringing. Also the codes are specific to a employee so I would assume Sky will be having a word with them on how they are all over the internet.

well after the codes didnt work, i phoned my mate up who works for sky and asked hime for a code(i didnt give anything away about this thread) he said he would get back to me, he called later on to say they pulled the plug due to mistrust and will be investigating?

as someone said earlier, its the staff members at fault, not us

This offer weren't for just sky employees and their friends. Sky were advertising this offer online valid till March 18th however you were supposed to ring them regarding the offer and not put codes in and order online. This was the most likely reason they pulled the offer as the codes were for sky employees and their friends only.

At the time when I saw the ad I had a chat with an online advisor and he said to me the offer is by phone only and cannot offer it to new customers online.
