As a user with plenty of these boxes it is best to only use the firmware ending in 216 as the firmware ending in 214 has problems handling the hd signal and breaks up quite a lot so bite the bullit and use the 216 version.

I've problems with my S9 PVR Skybox. HDMI is not working right. How can i solve this problem? Looks like its a hardware problem but when i open a channel which is out of my dishes coverage its says no signal black screen but screen is without problem. When s9 gets satellite signal at any channel then its gone bad. Even if its scrambled channel if there is signal HDMI starts to make problem.

Hi Guys I just wondering if anyone can help me.

I was trying to upload my own edited channel list to my Solomend HD PVR800 box and obviously it hasn't liked something I have done because now the box won't boot up.

Is there anyway to revive it, or restore it to factory settings?
