I signed up to it when it was on offer the other month.. Great deal.. but.. shows what robbing barstewards Sky are.. Maybe they could afford to set their subs at ?25 a month full stop.. not just for a year

Sky are indeed robbers but if you think you have it bad in the UK ,they are completely ripping off their customers in Eire.
Sky Sports in UK is ?18,its 32 euro in Ireland !!
Sky World Pack in UK is ?48 ,its ?73 in Ireland .
Utter rip off.

Didn't work for me, phoned up twice and was told code was invalid...they confirmed offer is on until June though, and told me to get another code from my employer.
None of the codes work!

Finally the code work went through everything came to the checkout to be greeted with, first month ?24.99 and there after ?59.99 It led me to think I was getting half price for a year not for one month.

It says initial cost and on going cost.

Your initial cost is the monthly cost for 12 months.

hello, this is my first post, used have a chipped VM box but now n3 has come iv had to subscribe, anyway i found this deal today and have just ordered my sky +hd package for half price and thought id let everyone know this offers back,

So why do they put that on going cost in, two more thing if i agree and after one month it goes to ?59.99 is there a clause were i can terminate the contract, my son lives next door to me would i be able to pay for multiroom and get it installed next door.

Dont worry about the Inital and Ongoing cost. This its just terminology. Dont forget this isnt a standard sky deal.

On your bill there should be an adjustment called 12month free tv offer (or something like that). You recieve your first bill 1.5 - 2 weeks after installation so just check that.

You would be able to share it in theory, but you would need to have both installed at your house and then modify the wiring afterward to reach next door. Sky will not/should not do this.

Then there's the subject of phone lines. if you can get a phone extension to your sons house as well as the cables from the dish then you'll be fine to go.

or

You can get away with not having your 1st box plugged in a phone socket, but you need to have the multiroom box connected to the phone line where the account is registered to.

Best option is try and run a phone extension next door.

or just bring the box back to your house once a month and do a call back on the box...this is what i used to do when i worked for sky and had 4 free sub boxes in all my mates houses....
