Hey guys, long time reader first time poster!

I'm trying to plan ahead form the impending N3 rollout here in N.Ireland and would like to get Sky in before the lights go out. Price is all important though, I'm simply not willing to pay the evil Mr Murdoch the best part of ?50 each month for the sports channels. Quick question: with this offer, what would the monthly cost be for just the basic Sky channels plus SS1-4 (documentary chans would be nice but only if at no extra cost) in HD? Would it be about ?25pm? Plus, would I be right in assuming that at the end of the year I could just demand that they keep the monthly amount the same and not put it back up to twice the amount? Do they regularly do this in order to keep you as a custmer?

With all that in mind, does any kind soul have a spare code going? (pwetty pleeeaase!). Assuming they even still work?

they still work just the site is down and you need to be careful with them as me and my mum did it and have had problems with them trying to charge full wack right from the get go but if your wanting it and manage to get a code u may as well go the full jobbie get sky world with hd pack ?29.25 per month or without hd pack ?24.25

Guys just wanted to add that swf3 sorted me out with a code and it all went through fine. Got my confirmation email from Sky a few hours later, all being installed on 4 June. So it's definitely legit. (a big thanks to swf3!)

Quick question swf3: What about if you're already a Sky customer, as a few of my family/mates are. Could they also avail of this offer or is it only for new customers? And also, what about those in the Rep of Ireland, is it available to them too?

You could always get the sky discount package put in, then get oyurself a dreambox sat and pay for cardsharing and get all channels

im supposed to me getting mine installed monday however ive had no confirmation about the actual half price sub. I've even called them but they dont seem to be able to help!
