Yes, I have my box connected to the internet. And it pretty fast. I can do video calling on it without a problem.

I just updated the spidebox sd 5000. It updated all the channels and radio stations, but did not unlock channels.

Ok..assuming the box is connected to the Net.....then have you ever got the gift working ?? As that needs to be registered before it will work......i cannot say how well the gift does work as i have not bothered with it on my Spiderbox 7000.....But i have looked into registering it...

Hi.
go to menu, down to options, press 1111 on the remote and network will show up, go into network, go down to net application, type nuevoxtream/input type domain/server default, down to authorization and register it, hope it helps

I have just received my spider box 7000 and can not get the gift to work, i have all the sats and channels set up and it is working with the free to air channels, i have the box connected to the internet. Do i have to register the box to get the gift to work & if so can anyone tell me with great detail how i do this or if there is something else i need to do.

I am a real beginner and would really appreciate some help.

if do not conect Reboot your box and should be OK if all conection to internet are ok..

no i havent double posted by error, i just did not get an answer which was helpfull. so if some one has an answer which would help me fix my problem i would very much appreciate it. sorry if i am being a prat to you which are well known to this sort of thing, but just need help please.

Its got nothing to do with internet speed ! its got to do with the speed of the encryption refreshing, NDS been the fastest requires a quick connection and requires your Peer to either have a fast broadband connection, or live cose to you geographically with around a 2-3 second card refresh rate

Other Encryptions like N3 refresh at between 4-6 seconds depending on which rom the provider is using giving plenty of time to clear the channel before the next key pops up, thus sharing with much of Europe with ease.

Other encryptions such as Seca, Viaccess, Irdeto, Cryptoworks can be as much as 9-12 even 15 seconds refreshing while Biss & ConstantCw can last days before a new Key much like the old N2.

To get a good service look for a provider that uses a Slow refresh rate Encryption & the country with a reasonable population where there will be a higher share / reshare rate.

You should be able to get most providers with a min ISP service even as low as 2 Meg Broadband with ease, including Downloading, game console & browsing at the same time on other devices.

YES, when I go to menu/options/network//net application/authorization/nuevoXstream Authorization/Register. It tells me the key is already registered. So I guess I am registered but all the channels are still scrambled. Not even one is unscrambled. I have been on this for weeks. When I connect to the internet it tells me when my gift package will expire.
Is there anything else I can do.
