thanks for the update mate.must confess I"ve only used TM motors and found them just about bullet proof.I"ve never heard of them going past the hardware stops.did you try using the manual button to check if went the right way.press once and hold in for west.press twice in quick succession and hold in for east.anyway post the outcome wont you.there is also a re-set button you could try,it needs a thin rod to go in the hole next to the led light.

yeah when using the manual buttons it went the right way the only prob its its stuck and not moving at all now.
so i contacted the seller he told me to mail to him and he get it repaired.
so i told him that i tryed to send it to 26 est and it went off the scale past 80 to the west b4 getting jamed, he then tryed to blame it on my dreambox sayin it wont work with a clone.
is this true coz i only ever heard of the clones not having enough power to move them not sending them the wrong way of the scale and stuff anybody know more about this?

check you have the correct lat and lon settings,,, also you must get a good pic on 1west (bbc world news) "before" you look for other sats.

I use multimap just put in your postcode and use the ones in the brackets.
                  Example below
                  Lat: 52:57:10N (52.95268) Lon: 1:07:24W (-1.1233)

If this was your Lat you would put in 52.952
                  For the Long 0.1123

If you do this and put in a decent set of bouquets you should be ok if you set it up in simple mode for usals.
Ive also used this on a clone dm 500 with no problems.
                  Hope this helps.

                  Andy.

I used to find my old dm500 would go all the way west if i tried to move it to a satellite that was not stored in when NOT using USALS.

yes they do power a motor fine but some wont it could be faulty psu or the cable run is too long.

a motor going to fare west can jump the return spring off that then breaks the control board inside.

Have you installed your bouquet list to see if the dish goes to the correct satellite??
That should tell you if its correct.
