Sky Clamping Down on piracy

I have Sky multiroom. By mistake I unplugged upstairs phone line and forgot to put it back in. I had a letter telling to plug the line back in or pay full price for the card. So they can tell if you don't connect your box to the phone line.

Yes they can tell, but they dont enforce the phone line connection when you only have one sub per property.

Many Pay servers are now down. People coming from holidays are being greeted by screens asking them to subscribe to channels that they already have, on calling sky they get same answer as everyone: Your account under investigation. People are realising when time comes to update the EMM, and the card becomes dead.

Its looking like by end of october almost all cards not in original boxes will be dead.

where are you getting your info from?
all the payservers on i know seam fine?


maby sky messed up 10000 cards went off, there was 50 guys miss-using there cards and now they think there the only one who's card went off now there panicking

you seem to be in denial mode from the start. on ECS people are uploading contact cards being left by NDS at their doors.

Best way to see if you are still a sky customer is just login to your mysky.com account or use your remote. it will tell you if the account is being terminated or not. Cards are dying once they are put back in original box for updates.

could be anything or nothing, it can be the cards that got turned off had used the 50% off codes when ordering sky, the nds cards could had went in to everones letterbox like piza or cab adds e.c.t.

Sky card needs updating every 60 days. So it needs to go back inside official box before expiry otherwise the card will die.

Are you suggesting cards don't need updating? because you can view the entitlements and when they expire, via CCcam or whatever EMUs web-if
