you wont get 26E at all, it requires a massive dish..

30w you should get but what channel are you after on 30w..??

in glasgow if you are looking for ADMC sports you'll be looking at a 5m dish +

you dont have a 90cms dish anyway..??

to get the SPL games you will need a minimum of 1m..

if your looking for ADMC you'll need a massive dish, KTV channels should be ok with a 1m dish in your area

by having a look around here and other places, 105-120cms is what the guys around Glasgow are using to get KTV..

the general is 1m for the SPL..

don't Al Jazeera Sports show it on 13E anymore..??

I am in the North West of Ireland and I can receive Saudi Sports with a 100cm dish and my location is further away from the beam than Glasgow.

and yes Al jazeera doo still show the spl on 13 east. I would advise you to buy the card it only costs ?100 and it has an awful lot of football on it ( SPL, La Liga, Ligue 1, Euro 2012 qualifiers, MLS, Championship, Russian League, Serie A, Carling Cup, FA Cup, Club World Championship, Argentian League, Brazilian League, Copa Del Rey, Copa Italia, and the Dutch League )

i can only go on what i can see and judge on.. all the SPL Live on TV questions say 1m dish, in fact 2 in Glasgow say 1.2m, one fella in Motherwell has a 1m but a guy in Airdrie has 90cms..

there is a lot of things to depend on..

strength of tuner in box, model of receiver
                  dish make, LNB make,
                  Cable length / type (R6 or R11)
Quality of install.. etc etc etc

Yeah I get a good enough reception of it the quality bar is not too high but it is definitly watchable and has no lines through the centre or nothing like that. I rarely watch it though .

Ken I have a slightly bigger dish but I get 26 east no problem and I am in glasgow to. The signal is very strong so there is a possibility of u getting something. Have just checked lyngsat sat footprints and according to that it could be between 90cm(clear day) and 120cm rainy day. Unfortunately we are right on the line to the next power level which is 120cm to 160cm reqd. Given that I think it would be best if u had at least a 100cm or 120cm dish to give u a better chance of getting something. U could try to catch the sat on the next clear day although where we live that usually means cold which then lowers the efficiency of the lnb !!!!!!!
VU Solo2 (clone) , Alsat GBOX V3000 positioner, 1.8m Precision motorised dish. Invacom twin 0.3 LNB, Image Blackhole 209 clone safe. Quad core Android TV box running XBMC and many other Appsl
