Hi, I live in London an managed to recieve badr 26e just yesterday (im new to this). The problem with Badr is that you need to try a transponder not used on 23.5e nor 28.2 the astras 1&2. here is my advise for you- try in non windy day! if u r lucky
1-adjust your dish towards astra 28.2E.
2-Set ur search for Badr 26E and use transponder 12182H, 16200, 3/4. As this is unused on astra
3- if you are using motorized, just 2 clicks towards west (try one by one), Badr is very close to astra 28e.
the best signal u would get 55-62, so do not worry.
u will be able to pickup badr4/5 but not badr6( so forget about rotana's)
note: this is in case ur dish size is sufficient to pick up any signal from badr26e in scotland.

After all that the game wasn't on either Saudi or Kuwait sport today, even although it said it would be on LJ site

Real shame that because it sounded like a real good game with 9 goals in it. I've noticed that LJs has messed up fixtures and tv channels a few times over the last number of weeks (Still a great site though) It is now notoriously difficult to watch spl 3pms on a Saturday evening maybe it was the spl that pulled of the game not Saudi sports. I do not understand how it can be of benefit to the spl to not show any of their 3pms on satellite because it would surely yield them money via tv rights.

I was watching man u play so I couldn't have watched them play anyways though.

I read a while back that the SPL had stopped broadcasting on any channel that could be received in Scotland.. They even pulled games last minute on Setanta Africa..

All to do with people not going to the games but watching in pubs etc
